We're developing our first community art exhibit!

The project, Able & Proud, is a photo collection celebrating the stories of queer Alabamians living with disabilities. The intended message of the collection is advocacy, resilience, and strength.

With support from community partners, photographer Tosha Gaines will produce the exhibit. She has a background in holistic medicine and occupational therapy as well as an exquisite portfolio of more than 13 years of photography. She is also an ally and the mother of a queer-identified teenager. Tosha and her daughter both manage life with mental illness gracefully, using their experience to help others with similar struggles.

If you know someone who might be interested in participating or assisting with the production of this project, slated to open in June 2024, please submit our interest form: https://bit.ly/41Hp6YV
